The second edition of Punto y Raya (Dot & Line), which has earned the title of “most abstract festival in the world”, will take place from November 25th to 29th 2009 at ARTS SANTA MÒNICA (Barcelona), with no entry fee.

Olivier Ruellet

Olivier Ruellet is a media artist / designer based in London, UK. He initially trained as a product designer at the Higher National School of Applied Arts and Crafts ( ENSAAMA / Olivier de Serres ) in Paris, and also obtained a BA in Visual Communication from the Birmingham Institute of Arts and Design and went on to make self-produced experimental or animated short-films, before completing an MA in Computer Arts at Thames Valley University.
Alongside his teaching activity, he also works as an independent designer and digital artist. His work explores eclectic domains (memory, places, travel, image-sound relations) through different supports and disciplines (film, interactives installations, net art). He has had some of his films screened in major festivals worldwide and in Britain (Videoformes, Onedotzero, Bradford Animation Fest). He is also a member of the InnerStaad art collective.
